VX Commodore
The VX was released just before the Sydney Olympics, with major improvements on safety, engineering refinements and exterior styling changes that refreshed the highly popular body design.
The S and SS were given lower and more sporty stance, the Berlina and Calais had a full width grille rectangular headlights and different rear end.
Engine power was increased, while making the V6 and Gen III V8 more economical.
