The HQ released updated versions of all of it’s models, but they also released a long wheel based luxury model called the Statesman.
The 6 cylinder carred over from the HG, but with a longer stroke to increase the capacity to 202 Cu In. Two versions of the local V8 (’253′ & ‘308′) along with the ‘350′ Chev in the Monaro.
The first Monaro sedans were produced, having all the GTS options installed on a 4 door body.
The Statesman replaced the Brougham and was built on the wagon base.
